Dear Members

I am pleased to announce that Stenhousemuir Cricket Club will be open for the sale of alcohol and soft drinks indoors and outdoors on Saturday the 22nd of May and Sunday the 23rd of May from 3-8 pm with level 2 hospitality guidance in operation. We hope to increase the opening hours soon.

The club will be open to members only (we hope to relax in the near future).

We will be operating under the Level 2 restrictions for hospitality:

A maximum of 8 people from 8 households can meet outdoors where alcohol is permitted
A maximum of 6 people from 3 households can meet indoors where alcohol is permitted.
There will be table service only (both outdoors and indoors) with payment taken and drinks served at the tables only.
At this time, booking a time slot of 2 hours is required for indoor consumption of alcohol and please reply to the club if you wish to avail of a slot.

You will likely be able to extend your stay by rebooking as we have decent capacity indoors.
Tables and chairs are laid out to comply with social distancing and I request everyone not to alter the arrangements.
The outdoor area will be on a first-come-first-served basis. If you wish to move indoors for rain or other reason you will be accommodated if there are tables available. We will do our best to accommodate everyone safely unless capacity is exceeded (especially indoors).
We will be ensuring adequate ventilation and part of that may involve opening fire doors for short periods.
For the safety of you and our staff, we will be operating on the social distancing rule of 1meter (unless from the same household).
For your protection, sanitising stations have been provided.
Face coverings must be worn when not seated.
Drinking while not seated is not permitted.
Test and Protect (T&P) information is mandatory and will be taken for each customer. We will provide a book for registering your contact details in a book. We are also trialling an NHS test and protect sign in through a QR code. Posters explaining it will be around the club and with the bar staff.
Please remember that it is Strictly Members Only.
Please refrain from shouting or singing.

Finally, I hope you can all enjoy the club and the bar over the coming weekend, and we will endeavour to provide a safe environment for everyone to have a good time.

Chris Dyer (Scooney)

Covid officer.
