A result which builds onto a winning streak

Sorry for late submission boys, just wanted to get a wee bit in about the weekend.

Having scored 214 all out was an amazing performance from the team. Especially with Bobby (14) and Rushdi (75)s partnership of 89. The team was well presented by Jappie after scoring his highest yet this season... 127.

In the second innings, the team all worked well in the field to defend their score. Once again, I’d like to highlight Gary for his amazing figures (10-1-35-4) and Callum (8.4-2-20-3) who’s bowling was most effective with taking wickets. However; having only been hit for 11 in 5 overs, Sahil kept his bowling as close to the dot as possible and achieved a maiden during his spell. Likewise, Nick had the same target and completed his spell of 7 overs with only 21 runs and an economy of 3.

After sustaining an injury on the wicket and being run ou, Bobby spent 40 overs in covers and avenged his dismissal with another run out. I’d also like to mention the effort from Talor Scott who took 4 catches in those 40 overs at the weekend.
