Yaseen finished the WDCU Premiership One 2025 season as the top run scorer, with 900 league runs at an average of 75. Across the entire season, he accumulated 1,170 runs and recorded four centuries in Maroon and Black.

Yaseen currently represents the South West Districts cricket team, also known as Garden Route Badgers, in South Africa, across T20, One-Day and 4-Day formats.

In the Provincial T20 Knockout, Yaseen scored 146 runs in 6 games for SWD, averaging 24.33. He was 4th top scorer for his side in the competition.

South West Districts were defeated by Borders in Qualifier 2 for the final after finishing third in the group stage.

Yaseen impressed for Southwest Districts in the Provincial One-Day Challenge (Division Two), scoring 308 runs in 7 matches at an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 81.91, with a top score of 93 against the Knights as SWD finished fourth.

He also captained the side in the CSA 4-Day Series (Division 2) 2025/26, leading them to a third-place finish while contributing 367 runs as an opener, including a century against Mpumalanga, averaging 40.77.
