Second place in National Schools Finals Day

Congratulations to Larbert High School cricketers who took part in the Cricket Scotland National Schools Cricket day and finished a very creditable 2nd place.

On Wednesday and Thursday, over 300 boys and girls took part across our primary and secondary schools competition, with schools from right across Scotland competing to be crowned National Champions.

Thursday’s secondary school action saw Strathallan triumph in the Girls’ competition, defeating Morrison’s Academy in the final, whilst the Boys’ event was won by Robert Gordon’s College, who defeated Larbert High School in the final.

It is notable that most of the other schools are from the private sector with dedicated cricket facilities. Larbert High School have limited facilities, but have very high achieving students despite this.

Well done LHS.
