2026 marks the 150th anniversary of our beloved Cricket Club – a milestone that gives us the chance to celebrate this significant landmark, our shared history and all of the generations of players, families and supporters who came before.
Planning is already well under way. Our aims for 2026...
• Publish a commemorative book on the amazing history of ‘Oor Club’, already in progress.
• Introduce special display cases in the clubhouse showcasing artefacts and memorabilia from our long history.
• Special matches and events during the 2026 cricket season.
• Two Festival Weekends of cricket in early September.
• A Gala 150th anniversary Dinner at the Dobbie Hall on Saturday 19th
September 2026.

The Gala Dinner
An evening filled with speeches, laughter, stories, delicious food and drink, and ceilidh music to keep the celebration (and dancing) going long into the night.
Dress will be formal (kilts, suits, dresses, fancy frocks). This will be a family event for everyone – juniors, seniors, women, men, partners, families, former members and friends.

Adult £100 - includes a high quality three course meal (with ample
wine and water on the table), a copy of the new commemorative book (valued at £20), a complimentary gift (possibly a tie for men and a brooch for women).
